“Pull weeds and grow a happy life”. Last October 19, 2019, Casa Vallejo together with Baguio City Guide and local volunteers joined the Tree Weeding Activity at the Pine Trees of the World, a site of different pine tree species. Cutting down of unwanted plants is necessary because they also absorb nutrients from soil which damage the main crops. Casa Vallejo perceives green not just a color but a way of life. Participating in activities that involves preservation of the environment is one of our advocacies. It is one of our thrusts to protect, conserve and preserve our environment especially the community that we are in.
Exerting an effort for the benefit of the site loudly speaks our dedication to encourage everyone to help and protect our nature. We see more activities to join in the future.

Burnham Park is known as the heart of Baguio city. Nowadays, it continuously draws in visitors making it almost impossible to track the number of locals and tourists alike that come to the park and leave their trashes behind.
Casa Vallejo supports the community they live in as well as the environment where they operate. In support of the Burnham Park rehabilitation, Casa Vallejo team together with the Rehabilitation Action for Baguio (RAB) Volunteer group and other volunteers did their first Clean Up Drive for 2020 on Friday, January 31 at the different clusters of Burnham Park (Melvin Jones Grandstand, Igorot Park, Skating Rink, Rose Garden, Burnham Lake and Children’s Park).
The aim of this Clean Up Drive is to help the environment and to contribute to the prevention of global warming and garbage littering. Furthermore, this is also to raise public awareness on waste management and how to take care of the environment.
Casa Vallejo believes that the environment is our responsibility and that our actions have a direct impact to it. Thus we need to take initiatives and put our foot forward to save the earth for the future generation.
